Enrichment Experiences
Yoga & Mindfulness
These gentle sessions offer children a calm moment in their week to stretch, breathe, and slow down. Through simple movements and guided relaxation, they learn how to understand their feelings, look after their bodies, and find moments of stillness.
Intergenerational Connections
We’re proud to bring children together with older members of our community for crafts, gardening, conversation, and storytelling. These visits help children develop empathy, kindness, and a meaningful connection to people of all ages.
Makaton Signing Sessions
Delivered by a trained Makaton practitioner, these friendly sessions introduce children to simple signs in a fun, engaging way. Makaton supports communication for all children and helps us create an inclusive, supportive environment where every child is understood.
French
Each week, our French teacher visits the nursery to introduce toddlers and preschoolers to the joy of a new language through songs, stories, and playful conversation. These lively sessions help children tune into new sounds, build early confidence with vocabulary, and experience the excitement of exploring another culture in a warm, age-appropriate way.
Woodwork
Our woodwork specialist creates inspiring termly woodwork packs and guided activities for our preschool children. Using real tools and natural materials, children learn how to design, build, and problem-solve safely and creatively. These sessions develop fine motor skills, focus, resilience, and a huge sense of pride as children bring their ideas to life through hands-on making.
Drama
Each week, our specialist dance teacher visits the nursery to lead joyful, movement-filled sessions for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Through rhythm, expression, and playful choreography, children build confidence in their bodies, develop coordination, and experience the pure delight of moving to music together.
Heuristic Learning
Heuristic learning gives children the freedom to explore everyday objects in their own way, discovering how things move, feel, and fit together through open-ended play. Using natural materials and loose parts, children follow their curiosity, build problem-solving skills, and develop deep focus as they investigate the world around them.
Parent Events
We love bringing our families together through joyful celebrations and shared experiences. From our annual art exhibition and festive Christmas show to our heart-warming graduation ceremony, these events give children the chance to shine and families the chance to feel part of our community.
